Jo Koy Set to Host 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards

Jo Koy is set to host the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards marking his first ever appearance as a host for a major awards show. 

Most recently, Koy starred in Disney’s Haunted Mansion and voiced the character of Bendo in Netflix’s Monkey King. Koy has also appeared in Universal’s 2022 film Easter Sunday, which is based on his own experiences. He’ll be voicing the character of The Monkey King in Paramount+’s animated film Tiger’s Apprentice which is set to release on the streaming service on February 2nd. 

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards will air live on CBS and be available for streaming on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 7th at 8pm EST and 5pm PST.
