South Korean Actors Lee Je Hoon and Park Eun-bin Set As Busan Festival Hosts

Lee Je Hoon and Park Eun-bin will host the 2023 Busan International Film Festival's (BIFF) opening ceremony. The 28th edition of Asia's leading movie gala will be held on the evening of October 4, 2023, in Busan, South Korea, within the purpose-built Busan Cinema Center. 

Her portrayal of the first cross-dressing queen in a Korean historical drama, The King's Affection, in 2021 solidified Park's status as a worldwide celebrity. She was cast in the popular contemporary drama series Extraordinary Attorney Woo due to her recognition.

Lee emerged as a rising star with his intense performances in films such as Bleak Night (2011), The Front Line (2011), and Architecture 101 (2012). Following that, he showcased his skills in various genres, as seen in the films Anarchist From ColonyI Can Speak, and Time to Hunt.

Both actors also have extensive TV credits. Fans of Lee remember him from K-dramas such as Taxi DriverSignal, and Move To Heaven. Park's TV credits include The King's Affection and Hot Stove League.

The pair previously shared the screen in the 2014 drama series Secret Door. The festival will run through October 4-13, 2023.
