DOMESTIC Linear - AAPI OWNED

Represents cable networks founded and entirely owned by Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders as well as media outlets they have now acquired and own.

ChimeTV: ChimeTV is the first 24/7 Asian American-focused cable network, delivered in English and founded by Faith Bautista. The cable network comprises a mix of dramas, comedy, procedurals, food, travel, lifestyle, wellness, news, mixed martial arts, and digital creator content.

The Filipino Channel:
The Filipino Channel, commonly known as TFC, is a 24-hour global subscription television network based in Daly City, California with a studio in Redwood City, California. It is owned by ABS-CBN International with Carlo Katigbak as its CEO. Its programming comprises imported programs from the Filipino cable channel Kapamilya Channel and programs produced and distributed by ABS-CBN Entertainment (entertainment), ABS-CBN News, and Current Affairs (news and current affairs).

Myx TV: Myx TV is a cable and streaming television network owned by ABS-CBN International. The network features a mix of licensed internationally syndicated programming and original content, working with diverse multicultural artists worldwide targeting Asian American Millennial audiences.


DOMESTIC non-linear - Aapi OWNED

Represents streaming platforms founded and entirely owned by Asian American and Pacific Islanders as well as media outlets they have now acquired and own.

Asian American Movies: Asian American Movies is a video streaming platform cofounded by Quentin Lee and Koji Steven Sakai that curates acclaimed diasporic Asian movies, documentaries, short films, and television series.

GoldenTV: GoldenTV is a community-driven platform for Asian American storytelling founded by Takashi Cheng.

Joy Sauce: Joy Sauce is a free ad-supported Asian American-focused streaming platform founded by Jonathan Ng Sposato with content for and by Asian Americans.

Kocowa: Kocowa is an online video streaming website based in Los Angeles and headed by Kunhee Park as a joint venture between the top three Korean broadcast networks: KBS, MBC and SBS, and SK Telecom to provide Korean entertainment including K-Dramas, K-Reality, K-Variety, and K-Pop with multi-language subtitles.

Rakuten Viki: Rakuten Viki is a video streaming platform based in San Mateo, California, with branch offices in Singapore, Tokyo, and Seoul. It is a subsidiary of Rakuten Group Inc. and is headed by Mickey Mikitani. The platform streams videos that are like other SVOD services, yet it also allows users to subtitle content available in two hundred languages and provides original programming.

TOKU: TOKU is a linear and on-demand network owned by Olympusat. It features a mix of live-action and anime series and movies from Asia.


INTERNATIONAL non-linear - East Asian OWNED

Represents streaming platforms owned and operated by Asians outside of the United States.

Abema: Abema is a Japanese free ad-supported streaming television (FAST). It primarily functions as an online television network, featuring multiple channels including news, sports, entertainment, anime, and more. Most channels can be watched for free, with the option to become a premium member to view past programs on demand.

Crunchyroll: Crunchyroll video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service co-founded by Kun Gao, James Lin, Brandon Ooi, and Vu Nguyen. It is owned by Sony Group Corporation through a joint venture between Sony Pictures and Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Aniplex. The streaming platform distributes films and television series produced by East Asian media, including Japanese anime.

D-anime Store: D-anime Store is a Japanese video-on-demand service led by Takaeshi Ochi that specializes in anime content.

GagaOOLala: GagaOOLala is a Taiwan-based worldwide video-on-demand service founded by Jay Lin specializing in uncensored LGBT-related films, LGBT made-for-television films, and contemporary LGBT television drama series.

Iflix: Iflix is a Malaysian video-on-demand service focused on emerging markets that serves as a digital hosting and distribution platform for Western, Asian regional, and local TV shows and films obtained through global partnerships with more than 150 distributors and studios.

iQIYI: iQIYI is a Chinese video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service a subsidiary of Baidu that produces and distributes films and television series.

Mango TV: Mango TV is a Chinese video-on-demand service founded by Hunan Broadcasting System that features original content.

Lemino: Lemino is a Japanese video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service operated by NTT Docomo.

Rakuten TV: Rakuten TV is a video-on-demand streaming service offering movies and TV series for subscription, rental, and purchase. It is a subsidiary of Rakuten Group Inc. and is headed by Mickey Mikitani. Rakuten TV's catalog includes content from studios worldwide such as Warner Bros., Disney, and Sony Pictures, local distributors, and independent labels (the smallest and least known service among its competitors).

Smash: Smash is a Japanese video-on-demand app that features original content in the vertical video format optimized for viewing on smartphones.

Telasa: Telasa is a Japanese video-on-demand service led by Takashi Kamiyama.

Tencent Video: Tencent Video (known as We TV internationally) is a Chinese video-on-demand streaming service and a subsidiary of Tencent that produces originals and features licensed content from other distributors.

TVer: TVer is a Japanese ad-supported video-on-demand service via a partnership with five Tokyo broadcasters Nippon TV, TV Asahi, TBS Television, TV Tokyo, and Fuji Television that allows viewers to watch programs from their original broadcast platform from over 115 television channels.

TVING: TVING is a South Korean video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service operated by TVING Corporation, a joint venture of CJ ENM Entertainment Division (CJ Group), Naver and JTBC.[ The platform streams dramas, entertainment shows, animations, exclusive television films, specials, and documentaries.

U-Next: U-Next is a Japanese over-the-top streaming service led by Yasuhide Uno.

Vidio: Vidio Vidio is one of Indonesia's most popular news and entertainment websites, with live streaming channels, critically acclaimed original content, real-time audience involvement, and talent spotting competitions founded by Adi Sariaatmadja.

Viu: Viu is an over-the-top video streaming service that is a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s PCCW Media Group. It offers a wide catalog of movies and TV shows from across Asia, including popular and new titles.


INTERNATIONAL non-linear - South Asian OWNED

Aha: Aha is an Indian video-on-demand service founded by Allu Aravind that offers content in Telugu and Tamil languages.

ALTBalaji: ALTBalaji is an Indian video-on-demand platform that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd.

Bioscope: Bioscope is an Indian streaming platform (a subsidiary of Grameenphone) that features original programming and licensed content from other vendors.

Disney+ Hotstar: Disney+ Hotstar is an Indian video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned by The Walt Disney Company India and operated by Disney Streaming, Disney Entertainment both division Subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, featuring domestic Indian film, television, and sports content for India itself and its worldwide diaspora. It also includes imported content and serves Southeast Asia as well.

Eros Now: Eros Now is an Indian over-the-top, video-on-demand entertainment and media platform. It is owned and controlled by Eros Digital, the Indian digital media management arm of the Indian American multinational media company Eros Media World. The network offers media streaming, and video-on-demand services, and features movies, television shows, music videos, and 2.5 lakhs music tracks.

Jio TV: Jio TV is an Indian streaming television service owned by Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries that offers about 1000 live channels.

JioCinema: JioCinema is an Indian free over-the-top media streaming service led by Akash Ambani.

ZEE5: ZEE5 is an Indian video-on-demand and over-the-top streaming service, run by Zee Entertainment Enterprises.

INTERNATIONAL non-linear - Southeast Asian OWNED

iWantTFC: iWantTFC is a Filipino over-the-top content platform and production company owned and operated by ABS-CBN Digital Media, a division of ABS-CBN Corporation offering on-demand content from ABS-CBN. The platform also live streams linear channels such as Kapamilya Channel, DWPM/TeleRadyo Serbisyo, and Knowledge Channel.

Vidio: Vidio is an Indonesian over-the-top video streaming service a subsidiary of Emtek that features free-to-air and pay TV channels, live streaming events, films, and series, including Vidio original programs

Vivamax: Vivamax is a Philippine video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by Viva Communication that distributes television series and films produced by Viva.
