Viewing Figures: ‘For Eagle Brothers’ Hits Season High; ‘Beyond the Gates’ a New Low
South Korea: For June 2025, For Eagle Brothers ranked as the highest-rated drama series for the month. For Eagle Brothers averaged 993,000 viewers per episode, beating its competitors by far. Its highest-rated episode aired on Sunday, June 15, averaging 21.9% of viewers. Meanwhile, the lowest-rated episode of For Eagle Brothers in June 2025 aired one day prior on June 14, with 18.0% of viewers.
The new series Spring of Youth, on the other hand, had the lowest average ratings of June 2025. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as it only aired one episode a week. Spring of Youth averaged 200,000 viewers for June 2025. The highest-rated episodes of the series for the month aired on June 18 and 25, each averaging 0.9%, while the two lowest-rated episodes of the month aired on June 4 and 11, tied at 0.8%, respectively.
On the streaming side, the third and final season of Squid Game averaged the highest ratings, scoring 60.1 million views the week of its release, becoming the most-watched series on the platform for both the month and week.
United Kingdom: Coronation Street averaged 4.114 million viewers for June 2025, airing three episodes a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Emmerdale averaged 3.668 million viewers, airing five episodes a week. EastEnders averaged 3.298 million viewers, airing four episodes a week. Finally, Casualty averaged 2.503 million viewers per episode a week.
United States: The Young and the Restless on CBS continues its streak as the highest-rated Soap on television, averaging 2.96 million viewers per episode for June 2025. Trailing closely behind is sister soap The Bold and the Beautiful, at 2.51 million viewers.
ABC’s General Hospital averaged 1.91 million viewers for June 2025, which was average with its ratings for the season. Significantly, GH hit a 15-week season high during the week of June 2, averaging 1.964 million viewers, and ranked number one on the Hulu Top 15 Series Charts. Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates wasn’t as fortunate. It ranked as the lowest-rated soap for the month, with 1.53 million viewers tuning in, and hit a new series low during the week of June 16, with 1.47 million viewers.
