21st Annual Unforgettable Gala Honorees

The 21st Annual Unforgettable Gala has announced their nominees. It will take place on December 16th and will be hosted by Simu Liu who is best known for Kim’s Convenience, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Barbie. He was also the 2021 honoree for Breakout Actor in Film being the first Asian actor to lead in a Marvel film. 

The awards ceremony will air live for the first time on the recently launched Asian American and Pacific Islander cable network Chime TV. It’ll also be available soon via streaming services.

The awards honorees will be as follows:

Actor in Film: Charles Melton, May December

Breakout in Film: Greta Lee, Past Lives

Actor in TV: Steven Yeun, Beef

Breakout in TV: Young Mazino, Beef

Director Award: Adele Lim, Joy Ride

Writer Award: Lee Sung Jin, Beef

Digital Influencer Award: Steven Lim

Vanguard Award: The cast of Never Have I Ever

Global Groundbreaker for ONE ASIA Mackenyu

Lexus Legacy Award: Bruce Lee (The award will be accepted by his daughter Shannon Lee in honor of the late martial artist and film star)
