77th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations were announced on July 15, 2025, in a virtual broadcast hosted by actor Harvey Guillén and actress Brenda Song.

Highlights of the announcement featured many people of color. Abbott Elementary led the scripted television categories with five nominations within the comedy categories.

The ceremony will air live from the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, September 14, on ABC at 8:00 PM PST/5:00 PM EST. The ceremony will air live on CBS and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

  • Asian: There was 1 Asian nominee in 2025, down from 10 in 2024.

  • Arab: For people of Arab heritage, the total number of nominees was 0 in 2025. This is down from 1 in 2024.

  • Black: There were 22 Black nominees in 2025. This is up from 18 in 2024.

  • Hispanic: There were 3 nominees in 2025. This is down 5 from 2024.

  • Indigenous: There were 0 nominees in 2025. This is down 5 from 2024.

  • Diverse: As the industry continues producing programming with racially diverse casts, judges, and hosts, the nominations increased from 15 in 2024 to 26 in 2025.
