Hard numbers: ABC’s ‘20/20’ Experienced Significant Increase in Viewers, MSNBC’s ‘The Weekend show’ Dropped slightly

Cable News Networks: CNBC, the 68th most popular channel on TV, saw a decrease to 75,333 viewers as of Sept. 21, 2025. NewsNation, now the 52nd most viewed channel, presently has 89,833 viewers. MCNBC, the seventh most popular channel overall, with a slight rise of 649,333 viewers. 

CNN, the 11th most popular TV channel, surged to 561,000 viewers as of September 25. Meanwhile, Fox News, the third most popular channel, climbed  to 2,098,500 viewers. Fox Business Network, placed 55th on TV, dropped to 79,666 viewers. Newsmax TV, landed 32nd, also recorded a spike, with 184,166 viewers.

News (Daily-Broadcast): ABC News’ Nightline, the 17th most popular show on ABC and the 59th overall on TV, garnered 740,000 viewers as of Sept. 24. CBS Mornings, which is ranked 13th on CBS and 60th overall, now has 1,809,333 viewers. Good Morning America, ABC’s 11th most popular series and 39th overall, also gained marginally to 2,618,666 viewers.

News (Weekend-Broadcast): ABC’s 20/20, ranked 16th on ABC and 56th overall, saw a significant boost to 2.210 million viewers. Dateline NBC, slated for 13th on NBC and 64th overall, remained at 1.630 million viewers as of Sept. 19. Meet the Press with Kritsen Welker remains stable at around 2.288 million viewers, with a slight uptick.

News & Politics (Daily-Cable): CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, the network’s fourth most popular show and the 144th overall, reported a growth of 547,166 viewers.  Fox News’ 9th most popular series, The Faulkner Focus, increased by 1% over the last month to 1.996 million viewers.

News & Politics (Weekend-Cable): MSNBC’s The Weekend series, listed sixth on the network and 196th overall, witnessed a decline to 381,166 viewers. 

Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin - The view/abc

Talk Shows: GMA3: What You Need To Know, ABC’s 18th most popular series and 83rd overall, increased to 1.206 million viewers. The View, 13th on ABC and 46th overall, saw a heavy surge of 1.944 million viewers.
